Heber J. Grant Building

The multi-use building, 41,000 square feet, serves many purposes. It houses one of the on-campus stakes - with offices for wards and the stake, provides classroom space for a variety of subjects and office space for faculty. The building also is home to the Business Management, Hospitality and Tourism Management, and Accounting Departments. The Open House was on September 6, 2013 and the building was dedicated September 8, 2013 by Elder Russell M. Nelson.

BYU–Hawaii breaks ground for new facilities


Phase one of construction projects at Brigham Young University–Hawaii officially began on Saturday, December 17, 2011 with the groundbreaking ceremony presided over by Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

Contractors awarded for BYU–Hawaii campus projects

Campus ConstructionBrigham Young University–Hawaii has awarded contracts for new buildings being constructed on its Laie campus. Ground was broken in late 2011 that marked the official beginning stages of construction related to the university's long-term plan for renovating and expanding the campus.
