CAFETERIA PROJECT

Design is nearing completion of the Design development phase, this will identify the type of construction materials that will be used in the project.

Approximate start date of the bakery phased demolition is August 20th and Construction will start January or February of 2019 pending the completion of the permit.

Two story building with 5 different neighborhood style serveries that are spread throughout the dining areas, allowing the ability to serve more students at one time. The dining areas also include dining access to an outdoor balcony and roof top dining.

 

SCIENCE & MATH BUILDING

The GCB (General Classroom Building) will be demolished at the end of the year.  A new Science and Math Building will be constructed in its place.  Construction will start toward the beginning of next year 2019.

 

McKay Auditorium

McKay Auditorium Improvements

The McKay Auditorium will receive significant improvements this summer.  Staff at Campus Planning and Construction has been coordinating the work with the talented Dr. Daniel Bradshaw, Chair of the Department of Music and Theatre.  Okland Construction has been retained as the contractor to complete the work.  Work will begin the week of July 9th with the removal of the old seats.  New upgraded seating has been ordered and will be installed by early September.  This important performing space will also receive a fresh coat of paint along with new aisle and lobby carpet as part of this project.  Thank you for your patience during these improvements.
