New Hale Buildings

This is a rendered image of the design for new hales, specifically Hale 11. This view is a corner perspective of the entrance as well as two of the sides of the building. This is a four-story building. Many possible materials are shown in this photo, such as brick, concrete, and steel. The outside walls consist of multiple windows from the rooms. Each floor has a balcony/patio that will allow for breezes to come into the building. Grass and shrubbery will surround each of the hales. The patio on the ground floor will be covered overhead by a roof with steel beams holding it up. The building has multiple colors. The fourth floor outside walls are painted a bright turquoise blue. The second and third floor outdoor walls are painted white. The ground floor outside walls are a light matte gray.

New Hales 11-13

Additional on-campus housing for single students will be located behind the current single-student hales. Groundbreaking for Hales 11-13 commenced on November 5, 2021. These Hales are apartment-style buildings similar to Hales 4, 5, 6, 7, and 10. Plans for the new Hales include apartments for four to six students within each unit. Each floor will have approximately fourteen units, and each Hale will have four floors. The new project will add housing for 900-1,000 single students. The projected end date is to be determined.
